The book, ” How to find a Husband”, written by a renowned author in Akwa Ibom State, Mr Howard Usen will soon be circulated all over the world.
Arrangements for the procurement of no fewer than 200 copies of the book as required by a United Kingdom Publishers, Euro Book is in advance stage.
Mr Usen who is an author of several other books, said for his new book to gain international acceptability, there must be purchase of the required number of books which according is in thousands of dollars.
He stated this, during the fund raising/ launch meeting held at Watbrigde Hotels and Suits, Uyo recently.
Participants at the fund launch commended Mr Usen for venturing into book publishing, describing him as a man with noble ideas.
They said, he has impacted knowledge to young ones and has also helped to build positive life styles of the people through his books.
The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in the state, Mr Frank Archibong who attended the event through the Permanent Secretary in the office, Mr Ini Ikie promised to support the author to meet the Euro Book target.
Speaking, the Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service, Mr Okon Okon who was represented by a Director in the AKSIRS, Mrs Uduak Ukpe described the book as a global problem solving book and promised to support the author to achive the mandate.
She said, “my boss is a man that loves people’s initiatives, he will definitely support you to achieve your aim”
The Proprietor of the Redeem Schools, Amb. Monday Jackson, Engr John Okodi-Iyah, Mr Johnson Agwu and many others encouraged the writer to push the book to a logical conclusion and promised to identify with him.
