secretariat are organising an interactive session with the people of Kogi central on youth empowerment and skill acquisition.
According to Abdul I. Karim, the Programme Coordinator, the interaction will hold on the 31st December 2016 at the Rio Hotel and Suite by the Federal College of Education in Okene at 10:00am.
Karim told www.gongnews.net “the interactive session will avail our youths to know the nitty-gritty of export business. This will include knowing the challenge of the business, export protocols, international standards as well as clients’ specification
He added, other values they will be taught include export marketing plans, export financial planning, legal aspect of international transactions, Selection of right
commodities for export and how to establish contact with foreign buyers.
We shall also expose them to shipment procedures, buying country policy, bilateral and multilateral relationship; agro export related exports, prohibited export commodities and related transactions, understanding market potentials and trends, export duties and products certification, advertisement, packaging and exploring of credit facilities.
