Kaduna state will yet again witness the rebirth of youth football, as the the final of Senator Uba Sani Unity Football competition has been tentatively fixed for the 17th of February 2023 according to Chairman Main Organising Committee Tijani Babangida.
While confirming the date for the finals, which was shifted to Honour those that lost their lives in the air attack in Tudun Biri Village in December 2023.
According to the MOC chairman Tijani Babangida, the final will now come up on the 17th of February 2023 at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna and it will be between Zagon Kataf Local Government vs Jamaa’a Local Government, in the final of the 1st edition, and the Governor Senator Uba Sani will be around to witness the epic final, he said.
Speaking further, the excitement and the talents that have graced the tournament has giving us the organiser the hope that Kaduna state still has talented youth all over the state ” I am happy to see young talent play in the tournament and we did not just play the competition for fun but we want to use the tournament to harness talents that spread over the 23 local government area of the state and the government will form a team out of the talent we discovered” he concluded.
